Bring me sunshine!

The weather here in the UK has had a complete about-face!  So, to even things up after my post about rainy weather, here are some idioms in other languages about fine weather:

French: faire la crêpe au soleil – make a crepe in the sunshine, in other words to get a tan.

German: Sonne tanken – to fuel up with the sun, in other words to get a tan.

Spanish: Eres un sol – you are a sun, in other words you bring light and joy to others.

Korean: 쥐구멍에도 볕 들 날 있다

Even the mousehole gets sunlight, in other words, even if life is very hard, you will be lucky sometimes.

Welsh: Daw eto haul ar fryn – the sun will rise on the hill again, in other words, things will get better.
